Dally Camp – Fortescue Metal Group Solomon Iron Ore Mine

Working closely with Pindan, McDowall Affleck are currently completing detailed design on the 800 man mining camp in the Pilbara. The $22 million mine project is due for completion in October 2011.

Leighton/HWE – BHP Packsaddle

McDowall Affleck partnered with Leighton/HWE to design a 40 man Fly Camp and 152 man accommodation expansion incorporating bulk earthworks, fine earthworks, footpath, drainage, water reticulation, sewer reticulation, fire water reticulation including hydrants and hose reels, water tank, sewer pump station and sewer treatment plant.

Shire of Mundaring – Brown Park Oval Redevelopment

McDowall Affleck was engaged to conduct a concept design, budget and then ultimately a final working design to rectify drainage problems with Brown Park oval and provide a full sized AFL oval, with a full sized cricket oval, fully drained with subsoil and surface drainage and with the surface at far better grades than previously provided. The design was completed to the strict time frames required and ultimately constructed within a time period allowed for the contract and under budget.
