McDowall Affleck assisted the Leach Welshpool Alliance site team during the construction stage of the Leach Welshpool Intersection. McDowall Affleck was requested to provide design and/or independent verification of temporary works including Mechanically Stabilised Earths (MSE) and in situ concrete walls propping, Jacks supports, temporary beams supports, temporary handrails.

A quick response time was required so we had a McDowall Affleck dedicated engineer to avoid site delays. McDowall Affleck were able to offer a provision of multiple concept options and flexible design to include materials available on site. We optimised design to meet clients requirements with conservative design assumptions.
