McDowall Affleck were engaged to design this two storey bespoke house. The storey is constructed with a lightweight concrete suspended slab on steel trusses to minimise the weight and cost of the upper floor. During construction, we engaged a local engineer to conduct site inspections on our behalf to reduce the cost to the end client.
