McDowall Affleck was initially appointed by the Principal to undertake a preliminary analysis to compare the suitability and cost-effectiveness of two alternative corrosion resistant materials (Fibre Reinforced Polymer and AISI 316 Stainless Steel). McDowall Affleck was subsequently appointed to provide the detailed design of the stainless structures. The design was successfully completed. The trusses have been successfully installed in September 2015 to the client satisfaction.
