Rosa Park is magnificent undulating land, previously operating as a horse stud by the owners who had the property for 45 years. McDowall Affleck was entrusted to turn the property into a successful special rural subdivision. The team at McDowall Affleck was engaged to provide the design, tender and superintendence of this 80 lot special rural subdivision using their 38+ years of experience resulting in lots ranging from 2 hectares to 11.5 hectares in size.

The design included roads, strategic fire breaks, fire tank and hydrant, underground power and drainage including open drains where possible, rock lined open drains and piped drains on steep grades where the terrain dictated. The subdivision was successfully constructed in two stages.
