The Board and Owners of McDowall Affleck are proud to announce that Stephen Connell has been promoted to the role of Chief Executive Officer of the Company. This is a strategic decision that will assist the organisation as a whole to deal with, and respond promptly to, business issues as and when they arise, and importantly, enable McDowall Affleck to capitalise on the learnings and skills acquired through Stephen’s recent successful completion of his MBA. Stephen has been at McDowall Affleck since 2006, as the General Manager, Executive Director and as an Owner.
John Groppoli, the new Chairperson for McDowall Affleck, was instrumental in this significant change to the company structure given the range of duties and tasks that Stephen was undertaking. As CEO, Stephen will alongside, Michael Ferritto, our Managing Director, pursue revenue growth and diversity and otherwise oversee staff, clients and other stakeholders in meeting the Company’s strategic objectives.
