Mike joined McDowall Affleck late 2023 as a Senior Civil Designer. Mike comes from a construction background and has been a Land Development Design Engineer for 18 years, with a diploma in Civil Engineering and a keen interest in 12d design for the last 15 years.
His career has included many different aspects of engineering; from land development, including earthworks, stormwater reticulation and modelling, wastewater and water design. To motorways, modelling luge cart tracks, retirement villages and surf pools!
Mike spent two years lecturing land development and 12d at Unitec Auckland.
