Rohen commenced in the industry in 2005 as a Design Drafter for GHD after completing his Diploma of Civil/Structural Engineering. His time at GHD began in the Urban Development group working with clients such as Water Corporation and Main Roads, leading onto Geotechnics and Dams/Tailings group where he modelled a variety of water projects, geotechnical information and was involved in drawing production.
In 2010, Rohen joined Calibre Global and gained extensive experience in the design of major mine infrastructure including but not limited to airports, roads, drainage, hydrology, earthworks, rail and camps. Working for clients such as RIO Tinto, FMG And BHP.
Rohen has excellent working knowledge of AutoCAD & 12D and has lectured at TAFE, also running training courses for various companies teaching Civil 3D and 12D design.
Rohen commenced working with McDowall Affleck in 2020 as a 12D Designer and is now our Principal Civil Designer and has been working on projects for various clients including CBH, Strandline, City of Kalamunda, City of Swan and others.
